About us
Bringing families and communities together through soccer
United F.C began with a simple purpose: to create a welcoming soccer community for kids and families in our neighbourhood. What started as a grassroots effort to bring people together after a challenging time has grown into a club where players of all ages develop confidence, teamwork, and joy both on and off the field.
Our story
-
How it started
United Football Club is a community‑focused soccer organization born from a desire to provide accessible, enjoyable soccer opportunities for everyone. After COVID, there was a gap in local activities for children and families. A local father began offering free community soccer training so kids and parents could reconnect and have fun together. With growing interest and support, United F.C. was founded to make that experience available to more families.
Founder and Leadership
The founder is Adrian Dannel and has played soccer at various levels in Trinidad and Tobago and Canada. He has been a coach since 2011 and has amassed multiple qualifications in the sport and has a coaching range of working with toddlers to adults, either in recreation or high-performance. It was always his dream to work within a club environment and United F.C is a way to make this dream a reality.
