(Parkdale) Under 9/ Under-10 Boys Recreation Training Program

Program Overview:

Designed for boys born in 2018/2017.

At this level, players develop a stronger understanding of positioning, spacing, and team concepts. Sessions emphasize technical execution at speed, combination play, and tactical awareness within small- and medium-sided games. Players are encouraged to take greater responsibility on the field, communicate with teammates, and demonstrate sportsmanship and discipline.

  • Who this program is for

    The program is designed for boys born in the year 2016 & 2015. This program is specifically intended to facilitate families who live in the Parkdale, Roncesvalles, Liberty Village, Little Portugal, Trinity-Bellwoods and surrounding neighborhoods.

  • What they learn

    • Learn to Train development level
    • Physical literacy is still taught but a shift to strength exercises and fitness based exercises are slowly introduced.
    • Communication is an important part of this groups development. Game specific and and off the field.
    • Incorporation of various tactics within 2v2's and various other phases of the game
    • Passing sequences are encouraged and rondos are taught
    • Connecting drills to real game scenarios.
    • Ensuring competition is incorporated into every session

  • Players can expect age-appropriate training led by qualified coaches, with an emphasis on fun, teamwork, and development, all within a supportive environment where every player participates and communication remains clear throughout the season.

    There is a House League option for kids born in 2018!

    Unfortunately we do not have an option for 2017 born kids.

    The House league is a fun, community-driven program for players of all skill levels, offering a supportive and semi-competitive environment. Through weekly games and a game-based format, players build confidence, teamwork, and game understanding while enjoying regular match play with friends.
