Program Details

This program is best suited for children from the Age 2 ½ - 4 years old. Your child must be born between 2021-2022.

This program is part of the Active Start development bracket and is the initial introduction to a child’s journey through United FC.

Your child will get:

  • 16 weeks of high-level coaching with qualified instructors-Parkdale

  • 9 Weeks of high level coaching with qualified instructors- Canoe Landing

FAQ's

  • Question:

    Do the kids play any games at U4?

  • Answer

    No they do not. Due to the varying development levels (mentally and physically) an actual soccer game is not suitable for the U4 age group. The children usually do not grasp the concept of team and get overwhelmed when you also include the concept of directions, and competing for a ball. At the end of the season we start to play games that resemble a game but with lots of balls and it is chaos but suitable for the age group. Actual games are introduced in the U5 age group.

  • Question:

    Why is the session only 35 minutes?

  • The session is intentionally limited to 35 minutes because, at this age, most 2,3 and 4-year-olds reach their capacity for following instructions around this time. Extended sessions can be taxing on their young minds, as maintaining focus and engagement for too long often becomes counterproductive. By keeping the session to 35 minutes, we ensure the experience remains fun, effective, and developmentally appropriate for kids at the U4 level.
